Here's my entry for membership in the Ten Dollar Hat Club. Snagged it for the $9.95 opening bid. Surprising, as it's a 7-1/2 LO which is just a little big for me. I can wear it OK, though, it doesn't hit my ears.
The brim is 2-1/2" with a stitched underwelt, and the crown is about 5-1/4"...
Does this hat make me look... never mind. lol
It's a little different from the ones I've seen in the old ads, as the brim is only two inches and it has a conventionally stitched overwelt edge without the distinctive whip-stitching.

I love when I take a call from a customer at my job and they have the regulation "goombah" accent and they give an address in Utah or somwhere. I guess wiseguys in the witness protection program buy stuff from TV too. lol
I wear my vintage hats practically every waking moment. I alternate them so as not to wear them out.
It would take a minor miracle for me to find vintage clothes other than hats, as even if I lost 100 pounds I'd still be too big for anything I've found so far. I do have a vintage inspired...
Crimson Skies fan here. I have the PC version, quite old, but I love it and it's the only game I play. I suppose I ought to get a joystick, but I've become a pretty decent pilot with the arrow keys. :)
In an odd way the very wide ribbon and the telescope top seem to go together. My Resistol is like that.

As I get older (I'm a ripe old 45 now) I find myself forgetting that something I remember doing "not so long ago" was actually 10 or 20 years ago. Time flies.
