I don't recognize this URL and I don't click on things like that because of virus threats - especially (and no offense meant) from newbies since we have had problems with that sort of thing. If yours is a serious question, could you save the image and attach it here or take a screenshot and attach it? Again, no offense, but it pays to be careful with things like this.
Absolutely, no offense taken. I got the link from an older post here on the lounge, but better play safe anyway. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for understanding and taking the extra step!

I am actually familiar with this photo and am 99.99% sure that this is an Akubra Campdraft.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the brown version is available any longer (I don't remember the official name of the color, though it's not 'brown').

A quick search shows sand, black and bluegrass green are available at David Morgan or The Hattery. You can also get Campdrafts from most Akubra sellers, those are just the two I have used. You might also get lucky and find one of the brown ones on eBay from time to time. I have one and love it, though mine did taper quite a bit in the crown (that happens sometimes with Akubra - quality contol is not their strong suit).

RM Williams still has them. Calling it mid brown. Kinda pricey for a Campdraft but ya know. Lol

Close enough. I need one. Fuel the fire

It is very close. Not sure if there is a noticeable difference. Here is at least one dedicated thread:

My Akubra "RM" is very much like my Campdrafts, but it is not a snap brim hat like the Campdraft is. The RM brim is more of a typical "outback" shape - flat out on the sides, sloped down slightly front and back. Otherwise I think they're the same hat, dimensionally anyway. Looks to me that the hat in the photo could be a Campdraft, or something very similar, with the brim snapped up all around.

Either model is a great hat, just depends on the brim style you prefer. I like the outback style on my casual and western hats, and a snap brim on my "dressier" ones, so I appreciate them both. ;)

Good luck with your choice, BdSal!
