Actually, no. As long as the car has been registered in another state and has at least 7,500 miles on it, it only needs to pass Federal smog standards.
Unless you've hot-rodded a late model it shouldn't be a problem.
I was looking long and hard at that Stetson, but it was too small and I saw you had already bid. Please get some detailed pictures of that liner and the other inside details, I (and I suspect a lot of us) am very curious about it.
Great scores!
Really? The CGI stuff in the trailers I've seen on TV look like they're from a cheap video game. If they really look good on the big screen I may have to see it.
"The Maltese Falcon" aside, I haven't been to a movie theater since early 2003.
I'd love to know this also.
Hey, is there any kind of logo on the inside top of the crown? I have a couple of Stetsons without liners (nice in the heat!) and one has the logo and one doesn't.
It's funny how Stetson put names in some of their hats and not others. I do have a Whippet that looks a lot like this one and it has the Whippet name in the liner. My Royal Deluxe Homburg has no name, and neither did the Porkpie that I traded for my brown Medalist.
Aha! But then again, my Royal Deluxe Stetson doesn't say "Whippet" on it anywhere, in fact it doesn't say anything but "Royal Deluxe Stetson" and it has fairly wide edge binding:
As long as there's enough room, I'm OK. I like it cool and dark.
I made the mistake of using a clock radio as an alarm, set to talk radio. Droning radio guys put me right back to sleep. lol
Well, if you really want to start a Marathon Club, you need to trade the family minivan in for one of those magnificent machines from Kalamazoo, the Checker Marathon. :D
I'm guessing it's a gent's felt dress hat made by the John B. Stetson company in Philly.
Maybe I just don't understand the question. :)
Or was it originally a Homburg?
