Well I'd say you look the part! Congrats on the paying gig. You'll have to keep the Lounge posted on when Boardwalk Empire airs - with fedoras involved I'm sure there's a few folks around here that might tune in to see the show.
And if you haven't looked at Triple F's link on how to bash an Indy hat you're missing out. It's got great pictures with narrative, and he does a great job on the hat. Hats off to Triple F!
Interesting - I think I could see you breaking a few legs or arms with a fedora like that one! Let me guess, in the script you work for the Sanitation Department?

Doggy Darb, welcome to the Fedora Lounge! I'm sure no offense is taken to your genuine comments and contribution to this thread.

It probably does depend on the price. If money is no object, and that may be the case for someone who is able to contemplate acquiring a high-end custom hat, then why not order the hat and forget about it? If you have children, did you notice how quickly they grow up? Six months, a year will...
No one's bitten yet, so I'll wade in with some feedback. That's a creative way of doing the ribbon treatment. I'm not sure what the drawbacks are, but you may be able to tell us after a while! There must be a reason they're usually sewn on! Your equipment seemed to handle the blocking with...
