G-1 jacket knit repair/replacement in San Diego
If you ever drive up north a little bit, the Cal Leathers shop in Ventura can do it. They replaced two knit sets on a couple old Schott flight jackets I have. Did a great job for like $110 each.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

Ultimate Leather Conditioner Comparison (on Reddit)
I experimented some more with my natural CXL Ridley. It could be the combination of the two, but more likely it's the latter. I hit it pretty hard with Skidmores yesterday. another vote for Skidmores. I've switched exclusively to that. Pecards is nice too, but I think it's more preservative than conditioner. Skidmores sinks in deep and softens. I like short sleeves and I cannot lie...
On my dozen or so, they range from slightly above the wrist to almost the thumb knuckle. I'd say in between wrist bone and knuckle for me is the goldilocks spot if I had to pick one length. As I like to say at my house from time to time, sometimes the dog catches the dog catcher. I had pretty much given up on my proper fitting Cal search. Wow, Terry. Never saw one with the los angeles label. As the story goes, one of the owners was receiving frequent medical treatment in LA area so they set up a "store" away from the Ventura factory.
