My brown Stratoliner came with a TWA DC-3 pin, and since the hat appeared to be in unworn condition, I assumed the pin was original. I don't know for sure, though.
Jack Carson wore a back-bow porkpie in that famous Twilight Zone episode about the used car salesman who buys a Ford Model A that makes him tell only the truth.
The episode was titles "The Whole Truth" and it first aired 20 January 1961.

Just watched my DVD of "All Through the Night" starring Humphrey Bogart, Conrad Veidt and Peter Lorre. The director of that film was still living at age 99 and contributed to the commentary track. Sadly, he passed away soon after.

Fred Mac Murray as Walter Neff in "Double Indemnity."
Kind of a regular Joe caught up in villainy, but he did make the choice.
I want his '38 Plymouth Coupe. Yeah, I know, it has a "face" only a mother could love, but I like it. :)
On the DVDs for a lot of Golden Era movies is something called "Warner Night at the Movies." If you click on that, it will show a trailer from another Warner's move from the same year, a newsreel, cartoon and short subject also from the same year, and then the feature movie. Lots of fun.

One of the employees at my job is from Greece or at least is of Greek extraction. He had a paperback book open on his desk and when I glanced at it, i thought for a moment that I'd just had a stroke.
It was in the Cyrillic alphabet. Whew!
