Here's a "clubhouse" thread for all you vintage Stetson 3X fedora owners.


I just received my first one yesterday. It's a light grey, very lightweight and soft model from the 1930s, size 71/4. I didn't even know it was a 3X until it arrived! Will post photos soon. A beauty!

Ah, I see. Luckily, the stain came out with a rub of naphtha. It's used, but in excellent shape: no holes, fading, fraying, cracking, etc. Since you two already have some 3Xs, I don't feel so bad about winning it.

Dinerman, I've thought about getting one of those fuzzies. They have a definite charm about them. Do you wear it much?

Douglas, You've got a whole collection, just in 3 X's! I'll bet if you looked hard enough, you might find one or two more.

I'm learning to wear both narrow ribbons and wide ones, with a smattering of leather. I love this hobby.
