    I remember seeing a few episodes of "Dennis the Menace" in the late '60s (must have already been in reruns) and thinking Jay North was way too old for the part. lol When Nick at Nite first began, they showed a lot of "Route 66" and I fell in love with that show.

    HORRIBLE movies by Golden Era star

    I LOVE "Hot Rods to Hell"! It has the feel of a '50s exploitation movie, though it was made in 1967. It's available as a box set with Dana Andrews' other masterpiece, the incomparable "Zero Hour!" with Sterling Hayden. "Guess I picked the wrong week to quit smokin'"

    Orson's very last effort was an introduction to a pretty darn good episode of the TV series Moonlighting. It was a classy way to go out, he passed away a day or two before the show aired.

    Unmistakable Nippon Denso logo on that square silver thing that's probably a capacitor. I remember that from my days of working on Datsuns. :) I think NEC began as the Japanese division of Western Electric, but that phone does not look like a WE design at all.

    I remember the General Store in Alderpoint California had a whole back room full of nothing but Levis back in the late 1960s. They were all stiff as plywood, and I didn't want to wear 'em. I didn't realize they actually "broke in" until years later. lol
