got a wonderfully soft, thin, all there Allessandria in a size 7-having difficulty
with posting photos, so this is the only one so far, but believe me-PM me, I'll give you my email, and send you a bunch more photos- one of the nicest
Borsa's I've had the pleasure to own...also have a...
IMO- heck of a difference. The felt just feels smoother, finer, and the hat overall has a luxurious tone to it-I'm referring to the Allesandria; the leather
is rich, liner same, and the color to the hat seems to be a bit more muted
than that of a new hat-taking nothing away from buying...
I think I side with Fatwoul. the term is "dent". as in "Sir, that is a peculiar
dent in your hat". kinda sounds like we've taken the hat off it's gleaming
marble plinth-and plunked it on our heads, collectively, dent and all...
Howdy! Like the look of the grey Akubra, but never had one- how soft is the
felt, and I understand that they're durable? Please get back to me, looking at a couple of hats, maybe we can do some bizness. Thanks Michael
just did a conversion a couple of weeks ago-didn't look anything
like what you got back...think Graham did something wrong, or uh,
maybe I did something wrong, but WOW wotta hat!!:eusa_clap
I can understand wanting something "authentic". I was an antiques dealer,
and these days you can find authentic everything everywhere you turn a
stone over...the original hat-if there is such an animal-is in my view pretty
darn cool, if not exactly the hat for my head. That being said, why...
What Douglas said...and more-very light colored hats are difficult- they can
look a little too much "uptown Saturday night"-but this one exudes class, pure
and simple class. Bravo!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
Rick: self portrait is terrific. What model Nikon? Pls. PM me re: photo problem on computer-can't get my photos outta da box, out to you folks. grrrr thanks M alias ideaguy:eusa_clap :eusa_doh:
I've got a Borsalino Allesandria in a size 7...thin,soft felt, light tan, wind trolley, leather sweat is close to perfect-will try and get a photo or two up if my camera and editing program cooperate; or/and PM me if there's any interest...
one of the nicest I've come across-but I take a 7 3/8.
Terrific work, and great eye for style; you're a natural-and you look great
in the hat-a really fine combination; lotsa guys spend so much time and
don't fit into the hat-you found one that says you-and we just met you!
Welcome!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
