No but I saw the vent holes in the crown. I liked it when I ran across it... but alas I am cursed with the big head.

The reason I said panama was that the auction listing said there was a tag that read straw panama. The lines don't look like a straw, though, and with the vents, liner and the bound brim, it looks like a felt. I can't say I've ever seen the grommets in the side quite like that on a vintage hat. Has that whole '30s short brim thing going on. Whatever it is, it's cool.

If you look at the bid history, it says he retracted his bid when the listing changed to say it was a size 7.
