Her Majesty EIIR has some beautiful hats, John Wayne was famous for his hats, Al Capone's oddly turned brim, Frank Sinatra almost coined the stingy brim look (which unfortunately dominates the modern hat market), Anthony Eden was famous for his Homburg and popularised it in Britain, Edward VIII Prince of Wales was often seen in a bowler, Curly had his bowler, Laurel and Hardy had theirs as well, Maurice Chevalier wore a boater, John Jacob Astor IV was famous for his boater, and Bing Crosby kind of.
