When I get home, I'll open on my monitor where I do photo editing (30") and see if I can't pull it into a resolution at that size where I can get a good image. I'm out and on my laptop and can't enlarge it clearly enough here.
I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time here. Sorry if I've reposted something that was already up!
"Almost a million images of New York and its municipal operations have been made public for the first time on the internet.
The city's Department of Records officially announced the...
I did outward bound many moons ago and used a Pendleton wool blanket and made into a bedroll. With an old WWII poncho, it was the perfect setup to keep me dry and warm.
@Miss Golightly I get comments even when I'm not dressed in vintage/vintage style that people just appreciate the fact that I actually took time with my appearance. Little things can be huge in the days of yoga pants and tank-tops in restaurants.
I know what I'm baking tomorrow. Suddenly have a monster craving.
I still dry apples the way my great-aunt did, on sheets, in the sun. Also make dried applesauce cake -- with all the tiny layers and applesauce between each one.

I just had this run across my Twitter feed and talked to hubby. We're going! I'm so excited I can't stand myself. I love to stand and take in the history of these beautiful clothes.

I also bought a new sewing book which teaches me how to make my own patterns based on clothes you want to copy. Guess...
Oh sweetie. I'd just be a wreck. My hair is "my thing" and it's very important that it be done well. That is so hard. When we moved, I went to an Aveda salon. They're a little more pricey, but the classes and methodology is the same at all of them.
