Still think my old bass player should have had your screen name, Hep.
The picture's grand, by the way. The ladies are excercising restraint in their approval.
Oh, me, too! And you and your wife as well...er, well...uh anybody know what time it is?
That's right - plane ticket and food - it needn't be more or less (although it will probably be more. Isn't it always?) You both will be nuts without the other one. I mean truly mad. I am neither a...
So, the QM this year will be a birthday party for me and ITG's new hubbub (I do remember that correctly, don't I...the 17th?), and a wedding reception! Nice! What an event.
Congratulations, ITG!:eusa_clap

You don't want to mess with me (but I'm the first you should come to for help).
I'm stuffy and aloof (but look at that twinkle in his eye).
Wall Street is the only place for me (I am the humblest of men).
I know how to dress (I...
Yes, and no. I know what you're talking about with the tileboard, but I just can't seem to recall the actual name of the product. Then again, different locales will call it different names, I suppose.
Do you work in a lumberyard per chance? I worked in our local yard for about 13 months...
Mornin', Magus,
Melamine is merely the low pressure laminate that is attached to a substrate - a better, more durable finish than paint, but not as thick as laminate on a countertop (Formica and others). Many times the substrate is particleboard (related topic: my stomach is churning typing...
What veneers I do buy I get from my local vendor. I believe www.rockler.com has veneer, but I don't know about grade. You could also check your big box stores around - Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's. I know I have seen it in retail outlets like that before, although I've not purchased any. A...
Furture box sides
Also available for your future boxes is thick veneer sheets. They are available in all wood or with a thick paper backing. Some really nice stuff.
Also, the Shaker box kits might be worth looking into as well.
Well, I suppose I always think of wood first. But I can't think of a design that would not add quite a bit of time to your project, as it seems you want to avoid that. One tip, though: close to the end is not a time to skimp or rush.
Do you intend for these boxes to be stackable?

Have you talked to Steve Delk, yet, Marc? Seems to me that he may have more than one. If I recall correctly, isn't the #52 kind of the quintessential straight-sided 30's block?
That's a swell jacket, HBK. I picked up a wind breaker at The Gap, of all places, a couple months ago with styling not too unlike your jacket.
By the way, I am serverless, websiteless, picture-hosterless for the time being.
1 Part Wild Root + 1 Part Marc Chevalier = 1 perfectly-fitted Cabinetman.
Hat: 7-1/4
Jacket: 42L typical; I believe I can do a 42R or 41L depending on cut; actual measurements...not sure at this point. 19" shoulder to shoulder works well, I do know that

Not trying at all to promote religious conflict, but you can talk to JC right now and, depending on your individual circumstances, hear what he says back to you.

It's a queer thing, indeed, isn't it?
I accept tipping as a practiced custom of a whole lot of people.
I don't often do it. Guess I don't go out much. I do not at all agree with standard percentages, nor do I agree with a small tip being an insult to the server or cab driver, etc. The...
Get one...you may well look to it as your favored lid. Not for every occassion, but it suits marvelously for "us working types" and almost everything in between.
