I'm not sure he'll be coming though. I want him to but his logic may prevent him from coming...logic being that with the wedding expenses, he needs to stay here to work to earn more money to pay for the wedding and plus if he comes that will be more money going out the window. Of course, we can celebrate your birthday and this can kinda be our honeymoon, since we won't be going out of town after the wedding. Like I told him I'm already paying for the QM room, all we have to do is buy a plane ticket and pay for food. So we shall see. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your wife.

Good idea! I think I got him convinced for our recessional to play the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme since it signifies the adventure into marriage we're about to take. I'm really excited about that.

That's right - plane ticket and food - it needn't be more or less (although it will probably be more. Isn't it always?) You both will be nuts without the other one. I mean truly mad. I am neither a professional parent nor a professional husband, but I will share this. It stinks as much to be apart 12 years into it as it does 1 month. You'll have enough teacher conferences to be away from him throughout the years. And he'll have...(I don't know what he does, work-wise). You know what I mean?

He should come...even if I do have to share my birthday with him .
