It's a picture that strangely looks natural, in spite of being obviously posed up to your mimics. Probably because it is - you don't try to look wicked or something, neither are you embarrassed.

Actually, the background was photoshopped by a friend, but the expression is 'real', as it was taken of me by my youngest daughter while riding on a steam powered passenger train outside Chattanooga on Father's Day last year.....so yes, when riding a train, that's my normal appearance.lol

It is Hank Williams in the jailhouse, but I am not certain of the when or the why. I recently saw a photo of Hank III copping the same shirtless pose.

it's ol' Hank in jail in Alexander City, Alabama, August 18 1952. I believe it was on a D&D charge.

Hank Thompson says that Hank W's problem wasn't that he drank and took pills, but that he drank and took pills and never ate anything. If you look at that picture close-up you can actually see his ribs.
