Do ya gotta be authentic??
At the risk of being smacked, what's the matter with simply shakin' your thang? "Freestyle," I'll call it. Neither Amapola nor myself "know how to dance," but we can wiggle and keep a beat. Is there anything wrong with that? Of course, generally I just snap...
Any glass shop should be able to get you the mirror you desire, be it bevelled or square-edged, curved (no, that would be a funhouse supply), curved top, scallopped top. Be prepared to pay a good amount for anything but a square (rectangular) mirror. Also, don't get anything thinner than 1/4"...
Now, Scott, think again...your most imposing daughter perhaps??
Our daughter's name is Parker Elizabeth - no family names a'tall. Sounds kind of classic to me, though.
I want to share with you something that is very hard to take. I suppose I am like the cobbler whose childeren don't have any shoes. But when my wife ("Amapola," here on the Lounge) brought in some slap-o-matic bookcases from Wal-Mart one day, I thought I would be sick. With this, I do not...
I lost my connection earlier today, and am glad to read now some of the posts since I made my attempt, as I found some of the same thoughts. Good points.
One is only a craftsman if those for whom he or she is creating thinks he or she is. Their experiences in life help to determine what to...
I would say nothing about an attorney, as well, bluff or no bluff. Too big for no bigger than the issue. I have a semi-related topic since we're reasonably close in geography. PM forthcoming...
Cab
Do not size down. If you wear a 12, get a 12. You won't be sorry. Only problem...you may end up wanting more Aldens.
My two pair in my size are a wonderful fit.
Cab
thanks, gals!
Thank you for the info about the dresses. I have the semi-formal dress down then, and I would like to find a formal dress. Any excuse to find more vintage is great with me!
I've looked at the pictures on the QM website with Cab before---my stimulus to really want to come...
Yes, some, but I'm not. It warmed up more quickly than anticipated and actually we lost a fair amount right off the bat. I was on the road all day today (in SW MO right now), but I bet we lost even more. Bright sunshine and mid 30's in central IL. The trailer didn't pull out too easily this...
Anybody here win that super keen Cavanagh 2 nights ago that I did not? That appears to be a tremendous hat. If anybody here, I can't wait to see more and better pictures.
Snooooow...I mean, So...this is how the morning has been. My name is Cabinetman and I am 11 years old.
Mysterygal, that tralier pic was taken this morning around 7:00. Big difference now. Typical of a big spring snow, I don't believe it's going to hang on long at all. The sun's peeking...
I thought the same thing. They could be figure skaters, gymnasts, pep squad, pom pons, almost ballroom, etc. They're totally talented, but the moves, for me, lose something when not accompanied by period dress.
All great dancers...uh, I won't be doing any of that this fall :o
Seeing this again this morning, I looked at mine and found that they could use some conditioning treatment. What is a good way to treat spectators? Can you oil, cream, gel, etc., the whole thing, brown AND white? Do you use two separate polishes and just apply very, very carefully? How about...
I may have to withdraw my challenge...Root has the look of a killer diller. Or maybe just a killer. Look at those eyes! Perhaps he's not to be messed with (prepositional ending and all).
