This weekend is probably going to consist mainly of getting my yard back into shape! I've kind of neglected it and well, I'm tired of looking at a neglected back yard! Tonight the family and a group of friends are going out on our boat and relax. Monday, I head south to Reedsport for a family...
Well, hopefully she'll come around and in the very least, humor you. Going through the same thing with the hubby..he doesn't really like vintage dresses and thinks the whole thing is silly and just a 'phase'.
I have seen some light at the end of the tunnel though...MK has given him a couple...
The lounge is truly unique. there are the few trouble makers that like to 'stir things up' but they generally don't last too long. MK, wonderful guy, hope you meet him ;) does not allow what goes on in other forums and chat rooms. Respect is #1 and I think we all do that very well, he's got...
VintageJess, Sorry you had to go through that! With having gone through that toddler stage myself, I know how hard it is!
around here, I think people are ok on being courteous. When helping someone out, it's amusing the look of shock on their faces...actually it's sad that it's so unexpected.
I think I can pull off Rita Hayworth and Audrey Hepburn pretty easily. Marilyn Monroe would be fun, it would stretch it too far for me to do something like an 'I love Lucy' character
maybe another prediction come true? I have seen a couple of times recently of women driving around with a towel on thier head!
I see younger kids all the time wearing outfits that look like pj's. Who know's, maybe that's what they are! Even their hair looks like they just rolled out of bed!
Mike, this day in age...in would most certainly help! It would be interesting to find out how many of your students do know how to dress appropriately for the work place.
:offtopic: Today though, I really don't see the kind of pressure on people to get married as was once the case. Marriage has been viewed in a very negative light. I would NOT suggest a woman stay living at home with a husband who was unfaithful or abusive...nor do I say that divorce is the only...
hmmm...would be interesting just how many of those women have seriously low self-esteem! Who wants a relationship with that issue?
That's what marriage is for, a commitment to be true. And that's why there are people who stay single, or perhaps should stay single...they can't handle the commitment
I'm pretty sure ragu sells bullet bras as well. Their other undergaments are great as well.
Cherry Red, I'm glad you posted that link! I was really close in purchasing a bullet bra! They're a little bit too much for me , doesn't have the natural 'curve' that should be there!
I personally don't like flip flops either. they're just so uncomfortable! I do own lots of sandals for the summer time however.
Flip flops are just NOT a work appropriate shoe!
Also, the sounds they make when walking, really grate on me
staying out of the sun is a must! What I also see a lot of is women who go to the tanning salons, a little bit too much and after awhile their skin almost looks fake.
Winter time, I fully embrace my paleness. summer, since I'm out in bathing suits so much...I like a little tan that's not...
With your features, a tan would make your eyes stand out more. My husband will put on the Jergens lotion. He likes it because #1. it is not an instant tan lotion so it is VERY gradual, takes about a week to get two shades darker, if applied daily. and #2. the smell, it has a light fragrance, but...
