Just got this jacket and here are some shots of it. It is just about as mint as mint can be. I know it was never drycleaned and worn little if at all. The USAF decal is mint and the white star and USAF inside the jacket is rarely seen. I have one question this metal pen cap was in one of the...
The B-15C from BR is a bit on the short side as were the originals. The MA-1 first edition Lion uniform is also a bit on the short side. I have had the BR and now an original in size Large which fits the chest and shoulders fine but is a bit short. Most of the 50s nylon jackets were a bit...
I am not sure we really know who made the A1 contract models as many were private purchase. Looking at period photos one sees a wide variety of styles. The WG model is a good effort. I really like my ELC A-1 as it really looks like the original since it was modelled after one.
I only know one person who has the Monarch coat on the VJF here is the link

Both are great jackets. I debated over the D-1 or B-6 Aero and went with the D-1. I think the Aero is a great price and from what I have seen a great jacket. The Eastman while a bit more is an excellent choice. I don't think you could go wrong with either one of them.
I have had a couple of those jackets never quite able to hang on to them. Take a 42 in Eastman A2s and a 42 in the B-10 from Buzz. Don't know about the Aero sizing but I suspect it would be pretty close. Some of the Japanese web sites have measurements for the Buzz jackets. That could help you.
Agree with AF I have found however that 42 fits me fine and have had several contracts in the 50s and 60s that have fit about the same (except in length). I think the 44 might be a bit big on you. I am 5 10 and weigh 175 just for info purpose. I can wear a 42 with a heavy sweatshirt.
