I'm going to go against the grain and say enjoy the hats you have now. Focus on your baby because diapers, formula, clothing, etc. is going to be costly. Akubra Colors - Who is the Akubra Expert here
Tone, I do see a similarity in these two hats now that you bring it up. I imagine they use the same blocks and offer a different crease for some variation. Akubra does make a decent hat for the price.- Chuck Bobuck

That's been my experience with trying to photograph the moonstone Squatter also. Sometimes it's very light outdoors. Can appear blueish or tannish depending on the light. Beautiful color though. BTW, I'm not an Akubra color expert, just the 'moonstone' guy.- Chuck Bobuck
