I think Bruce is right, but it comes down to what one likes. I mean, the PB and Miller milans are opposites in terms of stiffness/floppiness. If you like a stiff straw, Miller will be worth more to you. Although, by experience, I prefer Dobbs instead of Miller for the stiff milan straws...- Not-Bogart13

The PB's are definitely not plastic, and I'm thinking that the water would have destroyed paper straw. Thus, my conclusion is that it's real straw. In hind sight, I do wish I had gotten a brown one, but what the heck.- Not-Bogart13

That "new" has been there for at least 3 or 4 years. [huh] I own one, and I can say it has it's pros and cons. Cons; It's very floppy milan weave, so don't expect it to hold the look you see on the web page. Also, the packaging that PB uses causes the crown to taper by the time you get...- Not-Bogart13
