Based on what I know of the Akubra colors, my guess would be either mid gray or bluegrass green.
However, I once e-mailed everything australian and asked them what color was shown in a picture. They got back to me promptly. So you could try that, since they have that pic on their site.
Ah, yes! Hatdirect and some other vendors will do that to save shipping costs. You can ask them specifically to not do it if you're willing to pay the extra shipping. Some won't even charge you more, but I figure that's mostly because I volunteer before being asked.
I more or less agree with what's been said. The right brown and the right gray will work together. I have seen charcoal grays that have a very earthty quality, rather than the usual cool undertone. My advice would be to either;
1. Wait until you see the suit color against the hat color in...
I have to agree with Kao. Try to lower the front v a little, if you do anything at all. I think, mainly, that the hat is just too new and hasn't broken in yet. It needs time to conform a little to your head, and I think it will look better and better over time. I have found that most good...
I can't tell the colors... Looks like a moldy green with a seaweed color ribbon on my monitor. Maybe that's why nobody's biting?
Also, brim and crown measurements?
Thanks
Well, the only BCF hats I've been near were stiffer than cardboard and almost as coarse as sandpaper. The rest of contact with this range of hats is non-existent.
This hat's felt is very soft, and I would rank it with a Stetson Temple but without stiffener. However, doing a bit of research...
As much as I would prefer a better sweatband on the hatpeople caps, my "between sizes" noggin really appreciates the adjustability. Also, I like the soft brim. Different strokes, and all that. Now if only we could pick our favorite bits of each cap brand and build our own perfect newsboys!
My latest. I'm a little unsure about this one, so I welcome any constructive criticism.

Yes. Granite is the most versatile gray you could ever have! It's that earthiness that does it. It was my first color from Art, and get the most use, hands down.
I have a black Selentino by Tonak. So far all the pictures are terrible. It just looks like a black blob on my head. Best I could get was to antique this shot.
Indycop is a good one to listen to. I know he has several pictures in the "What hat are you wearing today" thread, and elsewhere. He's a pretty big guy, and wears big hats that don't look silly-big. He'd be a good visual reference for you, I think.
Of the hats you have to pick from, the Knox seems the best. If the Mallory or Whippet had had some black or burgundy, I would have gone that route. But the Knox is a nice, classic, reserved dress hat that will go with the rest of the outfit.
Just to warn you about Natural as a color. I have a hat that I thought was tan. One day, on a lark, I checked to see if it matched any of Art's felt samples. It was a dead-on match to Natural.
So, I would say be careful about a ribbon choice, at the very least. It's very easy for the...
I've had a couple of Brits tell me that a Trilby is supposed to refer to a hat with a 2" brim or smaller (a stingy), but modern usage has blurred the line to include any fedora-like hat.
