Rather than a different material or overlayering in the sleeves, why not just use whatever sleeve liner Aero recommend? I have a brown cotton material as standard in my sleeves and can't see the need for anything different.
More mods = more delays = more scope for problems :)
I'm thinking either no breast pockets, with two inner, or maybe two breast pockets, no inner. How about a pic with 2 pockets, if poss, majormajor?
I'm also thinking that the top button would be more for show, like the Stockman, so the very top would realistically be folded back on each...
As Aeros are so customisable there's no guarantee that you've got a standard size. My bet is that yours is smaller around the pits than the standard pattern, for whatever reason.
I would have thought the pit-pit would have been 40 or probably 42 around for a 36 50s. I know the 30s Half Belt is slimmer, but 38.5 sounds very unforgiving for even that. Did you ask for it to be a slimmer cut?

I'm not in the US, but at the risk of offending those who think you're spamming, I'd actually be interested in seeing pics of the new stock, as It's always good to see real examples.
My quote from a similar thread:
I had the leather Schott for about 12 years before I sold it on, which I now kinda regret. It aged quite nicely, particularly around the arms, and didn't seem to stay glossy for long. I didn't like the non-zipped inner pockets though. Pricewise in the UK the...
So you're the John mentioned in the article? Then that has a nice closing-the-circle touch to it. I look forward to your write-up.
What I like about Aero is the fact that we can all interact with the people who design and make the jackets, something a million miles away from the high...
The experienced machinist who made my hybrid is still there (I met her recently), so I think that other than any already implicated and let go, nobody noticed.
I actually discussed this specifically with Julie the lead machinist yesterday at the factory, and she told me, and showed me why...
Surely raising the hide issue is a clear indication of honesty. Aero could easily have dealt with a very few individual cases on the quiet and this board would have had several hundred less generally negative posts. All Aero have done by being honest is subject themselves to expensive rebuilds...
