cleaning vintage hats
H- be careful of using anything like Febreeze; that smell will stay in the hat for a while; any "deodorant" is simply masking what the problem smell is, not taking it away-and the more effective the product, usually the more aggressive it is, and I wonder what the chemicals do to the hat...and... -

fellow members - the price on my pair of Whippets seems to be way too high, according to feedback from some members- and I asked for that feedback. Based the price on what I've seen go by on the high end at auction. And I was too high. Sure, a few weeks ago a Borsalino sold...- ideaguy

no photos, sorry, but do have a favorite-"The Angelo" by Hatatorium, San Angelo, Texas- that I flattened the brim on, and put teardrop crease in the crown; took to it like a duck to water... Light buff color, and dense but soft felt, thin ribbon-comfortable!! -
