Don't want to be (seen as) a wannabe!

Who cares what they think or say as long as they are thinking and talking about YOU! No really, I agree with Lizzie, Lolita and Lauren. Authenticity is a state of being and not wearing, and to do everything "by the book" without the spirit behind it is not something I'd want to do. Me, I'm...

    do you have many friends?

Not all "family" is friendly, and friends can be family. ;) Some might even say they know people who are more like animals. :p But I get what you mean.

    do you have many friends?

I wonder why no one mentioned their pets? Can inanimate objects be a friend, like a good book or a diary?

    Pretty Feet!

Good idea! I can use the pickles in place of cucumbers over my eyes, you know, the whole McSpa treatment. I'll have to be careful not to get vinegar in my eyes, though!

    Pretty Feet!

LD I do drink water throughout the day and my hands are very hydrated due to using lotion regularly. However I just figured out that the long hot showers I've been taking can make my skin much drier, especially my feet!

Maybe a McDonald's foot wrap using a greasy, warm burger will do wonders for my feet. :)

I'm certain. I eat very few processed foods, read all labels and don't eat out often. The only dairy products I consume are small amounts of cheese. I only drink filtered water. I live in Maine where the air gets very dry this time of year.

I don't wear high heels (I'm 5' 10") except for once in a while, and I haven't had refined sugars in over a year save for Christmas.

I have a package of vintage "Johnson's Foot Soap" which is still on the market today. Since it's foot salts it seemed like it couldn't go bad, just maybe less effective. I tried it, and it's actually a SOAK and not a soap, and wow! My feet are so soft! I highly recommend trying it. Do you have...

Thank yourself, too. I find that the 40's is when self-care and attitude is more important than ever! It seems to me that the 40's is when some people start to feel old while others are just blossoming!

Any Other Conscientious Objectors.....To New Years Eve

Every day is a special occasion when you make it one. No need to squeeze something fun into one night when you can have it for 365 days. :)
