    For Sale: ELC M-422a Gordon Ferguson. Size 44 on the Bay

    Shoot me yer e-mail and I can attach a pic or 2. Much easier for me then going thru FL. In most of the WWII pics I've seen of Navy aviators in their m-422a jackets, they wore them loose, not sausage-skin tight like some guys in their A-2's! The knits on my jacket are still good and snug.

    I'm thinking real hard about the BK Willis and Geiger m-422. The leather sample of seal goatskin I received from Andy a month or so ago was fabulous. On FB they state that they are on their Easter holiday which will slow down jacket deliveries.

    For Sale: ELC M-422a Gordon Ferguson. Size 44 on the Bay

    The replacement knits are almost an exact match in color to the originals. The ELC knits only lasted a short while before they stretched out and even succumbed to a moth nip/hole developing. Jacket is in great condition and nicely broken in. Wish it still fit me :-(

    Heavy horsehide break in

    Try running some hot water over just the collar and manipulating it into a more comfortable shape. Afew minutes of re-shaping after the hot water should do the trick.

    The leather is a soft russet lamb skin (?); the A-1 was a limited (individually numbered!) jacket afew years ago so I'm not sure they ate still available. I have one in a size XL. Nice jacket!
