Gentlemen,
Just posted my like-new condition Peters Brothers Raiders of the Lost Ark fedora on the 'Bay (330917971029).
Size 7 3/4, 24" inside, 100% beaver fur! Paid $405 (will include original bill of sale) and only wore it twice. Buy-it-now is only $149!
Thank you.
Shoot me yer e-mail and I can attach a pic or 2. Much easier for me then going thru FL.
In most of the WWII pics I've seen of Navy aviators in their m-422a jackets, they wore them loose, not sausage-skin tight like some guys in their A-2's!
The knits on my jacket are still good and snug.
I'm thinking real hard about the BK Willis and Geiger m-422. The leather sample of seal goatskin I received from Andy a month or so ago was fabulous.
On FB they state that they are on their Easter holiday which will slow down jacket deliveries.
Fascinating story Stand By....and after seeing your artwork I see where the inspiration for your FL name comes from! You could make a second career out of being a professional jacket painter! Enjoy your AN-J-3!
The replacement knits are almost an exact match in color to the originals. The ELC knits only lasted a short while before they stretched out and even succumbed to a moth nip/hole developing.
Jacket is in great condition and nicely broken in. Wish it still fit me :-(
Greetings fellas,
Just wanted to spread the word: I am selling my Lost Worlds russet brown HH A-2 in size 46 on the 'Bay.

Hello gentlemen,
Just a heads up that I'm selling my ELC Gordon&Ferguson label m-422a on the bay, 330913873808.
Size 44, new knits, Aeroleather silk 48 star flag chit sewn inside as extra pocket! Very good condition!
Buy-it-now $449, reserve is $299. Thanks!
Friggin' hilarious "Sears pose" (you may just have coined a new phrase in the FL lexicon, my friend!).
Very curious about the painted bomb mission markings. I'm a bit of an artist myself and would love to know your secret.
Thanks in advance.
Try running some hot water over just the collar and manipulating it into a more comfortable shape. Afew minutes of re-shaping after the hot water should do the trick.
I wonder if there were those in the U.S. War Department in 1932 who felt the same way about the changes and modifications and improvements between the A-1 and A-2?
The leather is a soft russet lamb skin (?); the A-1 was a limited (individually numbered!) jacket afew years ago so I'm not sure they ate still available. I have one in a size XL. Nice jacket!

Here's an A-1 style jacket from The Cockpit with similar Aeromarine design (button front, d-pocket handwarmers) for comparison.
I bought a new LW A-2 last Christmas and the HH does seem a slight bit lighter weight then the one I bought 8 years ago. When I placed my order, Stu and I talked on the phone at length about the weight of the HH (basically 3 ounce weight vs 4 ounce weight hides). You can specify heavy weight HH...
