    To me it looks like WL was more than an employee. Reading between the lines of all the evidence there is a strong suggestion IMO that he may have had and still has a partnership and co-owner relationship with SA.

    And their prices are consistently lower than the competition. In particular undercutting Aero in all aspects of models and customisation etc; Either they are high volume sellers(not likely), struggling to get customers or SA has deep pockets and thinks he can win a long war of attrition.

    Here is my Aero Grizzly. FQHH cordovan with dark brown mouton, nickel fittings and Harris Tweed Houndstooth lining. Still needs breaking in. Though will get a lot of wear in the next few months. Surprising easy to wear as it feels nice and balanced. [ ATTACH=CONFIG]30438[/ATTACH]

    Many of the advertisements from the 30's targeted them for outdoors sportsperson types including skiers. Probably similar to an Irvin for suitability but not sure.
