My vote is for Us Authentic
I have a Russet HH from US Authentic. Much heavier leather than originals, But it makes me feel like I'm getting more for my money! Great cut and very comfy. G and B are great too. I've see them, but never owned one.
Classifieds Aero Highwayman
Yes Pony, there is a classifieds with photos of the Highwayman I have for sale, as well as the measurements. Tried to PM you but I guess you are still to new to the forum for PM privileges. Best to check with Aero for sizing, but for an idea, I'm 6-1, 210 lbs. and...
I neeeeeeeed more!
Well, yes, I'll give you that Indy!!! Just out of curiousity........... are jackets like this ordered for regular, everyday wear, or do the buyers have a specific purpose? I mean, I could see a flashy car salesman, eccentric media personality or someone truly attempting...
maybe
Fletch has some good points, but I still believe that regardless of presenting yourself as an authentic maker........quality, customer service and flexibility is what keeps folks coming back, and your company in business.
Let's face it, hardcore aficiandos can certainly flood forums...
Gotta side with Papa..........
Excellent workmanship, and certainly unusual, but where would you ever wear this?????? Reminds me of the "Partridge Family" bus! :o
pores...........
that photo hide looks identical (in grain and texture) to my Aero FQHH, after broken in, but then again, it also looks like a well-worn steerhide that I have as well! From what I understand, depending on how it's processed, cow and horse can be almost identical.
PRICE REDUCED and shameless bump!
why wait 6 months??? Be the envy of the known world!!!! Tired of getting sand kicked in your face??? Women will throw themselves at your feet!!! :)
the question
Can't say much about the Cossack, having never owned one, but the Highway (In my experience owning 2) is actually a rather boxy cut, and tends to lend itself nicely as cycle jacket. I have one for sale (size 46) in the classifieds right now if interested. Do you happen to have...
Hate to part with it, but other toys need to be bought. Excellent condition and heavier than heck, this is a true size 46 with the green/black checked wool plaid lining. Jacket is nicely broken in, and although it looks like a well-worn veteran, it's actually only a few years old. The...
SOLD - PAYMENT PENDING Hello all! Closet cleaning time to make room for other jackets! Here is a pre-distressed steerhide in an XL. Jacket is well-broken-in but has no damage or funky smells. I'm the second owner so it does have a crossed-out name on the inside of the collar. This...
stock sizes
Whenever I see things like "We stock sizes 36 to 100...." I'm pretty convinced that it's NOT quality custom work, but rather department store import OTR stuff! Hard to tell any real quality off bad photos. Thanks for sharing the link though. Had never heard of them.
Welcome!
I'll be interested in seeing pics we you get it. As Sixtie's said, this topic was recently discussed at great length! Can't find a better website for advice though! Welcome aboard!
the find.........
It looks like a common B-3 civilian-version knock-off but in excellent shape! Still a great find for a steal of a price! Congrats. Thanks for sharing. BTW, the cuffs are generally supposed to be rolled up on a B-3.
proof.........
Thanks for the update!
Sounds rather fishy. I'm thinking that at this point, the alleged-brother had enough time to present reasonable proof of kinship. He's SOL. Sad that there are dirt-bags out there willing to try anything for a jacket.
The museum sounds like a nice...
