Since this is my first foray into ELC jackets......does ELC not process their leather in the same way as they did in years past (as you mentioned) with "pre-Broken grain?" You obviously know your leather, and I'd like to learn. Excuse my ignorance....I do love the lore behind fine leather jackets!
Thank you all for your advice and time, Gents! I think Mr. Lever has the route I will likely go. No point in lousing up a nice jacket for minor preferences. Perhaps it will just grow on me, but I'm hoping that normal wear will just darken it up a bit.
Hello All,
I just took delivery of a nearly-new ELC Rough Wear "Redskin" (off Ebay for $700), and while I love the quality of the jacket, I was juggling the idea of exploring options on contrasting the colors between the brown HH panels and the russet sheepskin, giving it a little more of a...
Hello Sir! It's a gorgeous jacket. If you don't mind my asking, what is your height and weight? I normally wear a 46, I'm 6-1, 220. What would make things even easier is that I live near Lacrosse, WI! Also (considering it's the end of the season) what's your best price? Eric
Thanks, Hoosier. That's a sharp jacket you have on there! I was just curious about who may have made the Ebay jacket. I keep seeing threads about "old patterns" used by Aero prior to 2012, and was wondering if this was one of them. Trying to find a used B6 in 44/46 in the $600 range. Ran...
Hello everyone. Hoping to get opinion on "Aero" B6 on Ebay. Is it an old Aero pattern or a knock-off of the original label maker? The back is clearly wrong (4 panel vs. correct 3 panel) but the rest doesn't look to bad. Nice natural curly fleece, horsehide seam strips, etc. Any ideas who...

This is a beast of a traditional biker jacket! 8.5 pounds and in excellent condition. Top quality USA construction with heavy brass hardware. I really don't think it's has been ride worn, as it shows no sign of...
OK, starting to feel like Walmart here! I need to find a good home for this jacket. $165 shipped CONUS. Can't go any less or my poor starving mother will never get the iron lung she so desperately needs!!! :-)
Mark has since changed his company name to NORSHOR LEATHER. Here's a link to see some of his amazing custom work!

Thanks Monitor. It is a nice crossover jacket. Longer than normal halfbelts and classy enough to be worn for an evening out. The color goes with either blacks or browns. It tends to sit with a bit more of a tampered waist look. Yet, the horsehide is thick enough that it can pretty much...
