Bought this jacket from the ‘Bay a few years ago, wore it once, was a little too big in the chest and tucked it in the closet. Time to move it along. It’s been worn maybe 3 times, not even close to being broken in yet. Heavy comp-weight leather with brass hardware. Zip sleeves, zip pockets...
Basic COOPER build but as they tend to run small, this just plain didn’t fit right, plus the seller didn’t bother to mention that they were a smoker! I hung this outside in the fresh air for about a week, and hit it with Fabreeze and did manage to get MOST of the smell out, but I can still...
Original make AVIREX (probably late 80’s or early 90’s production with very sturdy construction, arm reinforcements, correct pattern, thick curly natural sheepskin, and overall nice shape. Color is BLACK, and does show normal wear to seams and high spots,, but no actual damage. Another...
Hello All! This is a catch and release that almost makes me cry. A superb A-2 from THE FEW in a hard-to-find larger size. Made in New Zealand out of veg-tanned hand-coated aniline horsehide with fabulous grain. The sad reality is that it’s just to tight in the shoulders for me. Although it’s...
Hyundai still makes Elantras (and others) in a stick. Decent size, zippy and can generally be had for $20k or less. Can't beat their 10-year warranty either!
Just a plug..... I have the exact same jacket. Oil pull gives it a great almost-distressed look yet a surprisingly supple feel. Really thick leather that can handle any beating, with a very nice drape that makes it very comfy to wear.
As followup.... refund was finally issued. At the end of the day, errors can be made by all of us, but it's how we rectify these problems that really matters. Kudos to Magnoli.
I realize that this is an older thread, but perhaps my current experience with Magnoli Clothiers may be searched by (and therefore help) other leather jacket junkies. I have owned two jackets made by Magnoli. The first was a catch-and-release jacket off ebay about 10 years ago. After reading...
It's truly sad to such national treasures age and pass, especially in these times when positive role-models and men-of-quality are sorely needed. I hope he lives to be 150. God bless you, sir!
Anybody have any info on this maker? There's a decent looking HH A-2 on Ebay right now but I can't find any info on the maker. Does have some interesting features. Thoughts?

My two cents: I own a FC jacket for riding. If you ever go down (heaven forbid), NOTHING will keep your hide intact as well as Fox Creek leather! Thick, heavier than Vanson and just as well made! Don't be afraid to buy this! They also have more of a classic drape.
Hi Matt, Contact Mark Fisher at NORSHOR LEATHER. Top notch quality, outstanding customer service and attention to detail, and he makes custom projects in a timely manner. He made a unique custom jacket for me years ago and it's still going strong. You won't be disappointed, price won't kill...
Well said, Dave! I have a custom-made long half-belt HH thing dubbed the "Minnesota Adventurer" that Mark made for me when sewing under his old label of "Superior Flight Apparel." Top-notch craftsmanship and fantastic guy to deal with!
Wow Grrr! Amazing job and wonderful pics! Thanks for taking the time to upload all those. Those HH panels really pop! Fabulous job. I could see myself (not knowing what I'm doing) really messing up a great jacket! You have quite the collection. Is your ANJ-4 from LW? I had one about 20...
Amazing jacket and fit! Stuart is an "acquired taste," but he does put out a quality product. I ordered a ANJ-4 from LW about 20 years ago, and it was awesome, but far heavier than originals that I had handled. It just would never break in so it went down the road. I just recall a phone...
