WPG B-1 Hat VS. MOS B-1 Hat
Hi, I'm comparing the Type B-1 Flight hats available through These two sites (WPG What price glory, and MOS Mash online store) Any thoughts? All I can say is That's practically NOS condition!...the cracked and missing bits off the collar just happen because of Age I would say, the fleece looks like it's matted from storage but otherwise not shrunk like it's been sweated or matted down through daily wear...I mean it's been worn, but...- Dumpster Diver

Well...it finally happened!
...I'm too fat now for a G-1 Jacket! It's been a long time coming staving it off far as possible but the last 10 long months of being here in the ides of winter. To top things off, actually the whole Quarantine thing left me too big for my britches...say, I'm finding myself now to be 20 pounds...- Dumpster Diver

Probably 2:1 is good water-vinegar. I'm pleased to report that my Soviet flight Jacket mould and mildew odour problems are solved. Fresh as a daisy, I had to keep the Jacket outside at night for a week or two, and it's been great living in that Jacket for the last month or so, excepting the Pull...- Dumpster Diver

I don't know, couldn't disagree that it might have run out of thread on the bobbin. whoever was running the Job was probably really pressed for time and Those parts of the Jacket were probably some of the final touches. Possibly, yes, that's why I selected the vinegar in this case. I used Hydrogen peroxide on the inside of a few Jackets, wiping it on and had no issue with the colour so far, but yes, I would be proceeding with caution and test it out first if I wasn't sure. The vinegar isn't the greatest...- Dumpster Diver

I've had good results with both Hydrogen peroxide and vinegar individually, I would say that the Hydrogen peroxide produces faster results than Vinegar. the reason I didn't want to use hydrogen peroxide is I have no way to test whether or not it might fade the dye from the shell or liner, if it...- Dumpster Diver
