My almost 17yo dd wants this post-war VINTAGE CAR!
If my daughter wanted an old car I would tell her to wait until she got some driving years under her belt and I would also make her do her research. :) I'd want her to know all about how different they are from today's cars, both safety-wise and mechanics-wise. My dad would never let me drive an old car because the steering wheel columns have been known to impale the driver in an accident. He grew up across from a body shop in the 40s and 50s -- he told me his share of gruesome tales. He would often see the column sticking out covered in blood...- Amy Jeanne

lol Same with my grandmother! According to my dad she often used the phrase "Son of a b*tch!" to describe my grandfather and frequently threatened him with the same skillet lol They wrote a bunch of love letter to one another in 1937 and my dad says "That's not the parents I knew!" lol- Amy Jeanne

make-up for a recovering tomboy
I hated makeup until I was about 21. I can't stand having too much crud on my face and it isn't necessary most of the time. I just use a bit of concealer under my eyes to tame the purple circles, but other than that it is just lots of crud on my eyes and my Ruby Woo lipstick :D No layers...- Amy Jeanne
