I would relocate to some busy harbor in the Pacific NW and open a small dockside shop for restoration of vintage wooden boats.

You mean they don't have bakeries in the States??!! But the bread is so good; how could they get rid of them?VargasBaby said:This might be a little weird, and I'm not sure how much of a market there would be for it, but I would LOVE to open a bakery. A good, old fashioned, walk in and order cakes but have small delicacies to eat too. Sweets and treats.

GwenLake said:Whew! I thought for a minute that people over there never got to eat all those delicious pastries and goodies. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Joie DeVive said:I keep playing with the idea of starting my own little online or craft fair business selling my handmade arts and crafts. I make cards, and floral hair clips (thanks to some handy glue info given to me by Pink Dahlia). I've just started decoupaging box handbags, and my newest idea is hand-painted fans. I enjoy sewing up simple baby blankets, stuffed baby blocks, and am looking to try my hand at aprons too.
I have a friend who just took the Etsy plunge. Maybe one of these days, I will too...
VargasBaby said:Oh Joie you should! What sorts of fans were you wanting to paint?
Miss Neecerie said:Maybe some Kindness in a refrigerated display near the side wall.
VargasBaby said:Kindness should be served chilled?!
I had always thought it was something that should be warmed and toasted.
*again, I'm jesting.
Miss Neecerie said:Well its perishable.....so until its in the hands of the person who will be using it.....gotta be chilled lest it spoil while it waits.
Spoiled Kindness is probably accountable for a lot of the meanness going on in the world......see?
