I adore that bangle Miss Hannah--so pretty.
I was watching this but it went for about $95, far more than I wanted to pay.
Some other lovely things that I've been watching over the past few months.
That collar is all beads. I got distracted and forgot to bid--I think it went...
I just ordered a pair of those brown Re-Mix shoes--I noodled about on the site and was barely able to restrain myself from throwing these in the shopping cart too (but they're around $95 even on sale--too rich for my blood right now).
Check out the stitching on the top of the shoe!
I recently read Still Missing: Amelia Earhart and the Search for Modern Feminism, which quotes liberally from her books. I really do need to track down the original books--I especially want to read The Fun of It.
Ugh! Just the thought of that makes me gag!
Apropos of nothing I don't like the new packaging. But that would make sense, since I'm on this board wouldn't it? ;)
Highs in the teens and lows in the single digits for the next few days here in Beantown. It's been sunny though, so far. Reminds me of my childhood in Minnesota.
I've gotten six (!) invitations and while I probably won't get to all of them I'm planning to stop by several of parties. We're all gathering to watch the inauguration ceremony in our conference room during the day at work too. I'm excited to hear Obama's speech since he's such a gifted speaker.

I wish I could go--love Nicholas Ray's stuff and James Mason is one of my favorites. Mason's acclaimed but I still don't think he gets the attention he deserves.
Don't get me started on ill-mannered audiences.

I received series 1-3 of The House of Elliott for christmas and I spent nearly 12 hours on Sunday watching all of series 1. I might be able to polish off series 2 and 3 during the upcoming long weekend.
The show is the height of silly but the...
Thanks so much! It was great to meet you and Ben at the '07 QM, were you able to make the '08? I'm still so disappointed I had to miss the last one I haven't been able to bring myself to look at the pictures yet.
