Long hair can have its merits. I seem to always think that *just shoulder length* tends to look best on men. Longer that that and it can be a bit Fabio or Woodstock-attendee. I think the well groomed/kempt point is key.
JBD... you are such a classic doll. lovely.
I don't think i've had my best look, but in a general way i get closer to it all the time. I come from a family of clothes-horses, so we tend to take it all a bit too seriously sometimes. It has taken me a long time to figure out what exact elements...
WOW! You are the best! Thanks for these!! And ...LEE EVANS!!! I adore him. He is in a *very favourite* film of mine, "Funny Bones." He's an amazingly talented man. The film is mostly set in Blackpool. I think many here would appreciate it, as it has an extremely vintage aesthetic and theme of...
More basic versions of these are already being fairly widely used in Japan. There are a number of reasons for robot companions. One of the first prototypes (without robotics but with the "realism") would probably be considered the Real Doll, which is used for *cough* companionship *cough*. The...
Thanks for this!
There are even more sweet treats on the originating maker's site:

The etched Altoid tins are just sweet.
Oh, amen Paisley!
Most ladies here seem to comment on the 'smotherers,' and while I've encountered those before, I tend to meet the slugs... The ones who let *me* open the door for *them*, or expect me to always pay, or some such. What is with that!?! And there's lots of them out there.
This is completely true. Whenever we have a 'happy mistake,' an extra order of something or the last of a wine bottle that isn't enough for a full pour, these things always go to our good, regular guests.
FYI to everyone, if you tip a bartender *really* well the first round or two, your drinks will be *considerably* stronger the next time. And you are likely to get better service everytime. Just sayin'.
Being a single gal, I think I'm subconsciously (and consciously) looking for a gentleman with a sense of chivalry and respect, and I'm a bit disheartened that they seem so hard to encounter.
I definitely would like to encounter a partner like Pigeon Toe's own, who has decency enough to open...
nicoletta, that's absolutely stunning.
i think you began a thread about dressing 20's-30's and why more don't? i have to say, while i *adore* this dress, it would look awful on me. late 30's-New Look do best on me, for perhaps a bunch of reasons. my lines aren't long enough for 20's, and...
I understand the phrase "too nice" in regards to men as meaning also "spineless," and there's not a quality that's *less attractive* than that.
I like about 0% jerk in the men I'm attracted to, but I do like someone who knows how to stand up for himself and who is not the World's, or my...
I definitely think this used to be true, and was the impetus for tipping in general: people who had none or reduced salaries or hourly incomes became dependent on the good faith of others.
It's interesting now as the lines between classes become increasingly blurred, and the service sector...
Thankfully, I come from a family that takes their cooking and baking pretty seriously, and also values their gastronomic traditions.
My Mom gave both of her daugthers a Betty Crocker Cookbook early on. I still refer back to it.
In addition to a good amount of favorite family recipes, I...
Yes, sadly, there is such a thing. They fall under the umbrella of "Resort or Cruise Wear." Definitely not career attire. Unless you work for a cruise line or resort.
First: I love you for recognizing that vegetarians demand more of our attention, but at the same time, the restaurant should be set up to accomodate you, within reason, especially nicer ones.
I can see how when you go to your corner diner you might come across as a more needy diner to them...
