Hi Wash.
I'd take it you are drinking the 12yr Elijah then? It's nice stuff, and a great value. I find it to be spicy and hot, with a strong Rye flavor. If you wanted something along the same lines, I'd recommend Buffalo Trace, which still has a bit of spice though with a touch less heat. If...
As far as scotch, my casual scotch is Cragganmore 12. Always pleasing. And every now and then I treat myself to Lagavulin. It's amazing to see it so (relatively) widely available here, since back home only the few good bars got about 1 btl. per year.
I also appreciate Oban & Talisker.

JBD,
Yes, little brushes. I use my Besame sample shadow for eyeliner, so I have a slant-tipped brush for that, and thankfully had a couple of lip brushes on hand. I'm willing to bet once you use a brush for your lipstick, you'll never go back. Makes a huge difference!
Let me/us know what...
Immediate thought, there's a Jaffa remix of Nina Simone's 'Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair' that is but a sad shadow of the original.
I can't think of a classic song remixed that I can get behind, but I accept the challenge... *trots off to reconsider and investigate further*
First = Olivia Newton-John, "Physical Tour"
Last = The Dan Balmer Trio
Next = No idea. Shows have really lost their lustre for me, I think because my brother worked for Ticketmaster for so long and going to shows became daily routine. Now I'm really picky, especially about venue and venue...
PT, have you heard Placebo's cover of 'Running Up That Hill'? It was ballsy for them to try and cover such a perfect song, but their effort is amazing. Highly recommended!
Cheers!
Well Fletch, looks like I have a lot of new music seeking to do. I'm currently in an ebm/lo-fi/down...

The other day I was at the grocery check out and the clerk said, "...You look like you should be sitting on my desk, filing your nails and answering the phone, in black and white of course." It was pretty sweet. He then went on to tell me how much it all suited me and how successfully I pulled...
Wows around! Everyone has acquired some true gems lately!
Recently I was home in Chicago, moving my Grandmum into a nursing home. It's so conflicting and odd to pack up and go through her house, but so much of her stuff has deep meaning for me and there's a part of me that is truly happy to...
While I love 'Baby,' and 'Philidelphia Story,' I have to say "Holiday" is my favorite Hepburn/Grant romp. Wonderful characters, excellent wit and writing... tremendously classic.
This looks early 40's. It does not look 70's at all to me, but perhaps the buttons have been replaced at some point? Would you want to take a couple of pictures of the finishing? The hem and inside tailoring?
I currently can't get Pappy Van Winkle's 20 yr. Bourbon off my mind. It's amazing.
Also, a vendor gave me a sample of Grey Goose's Le Poire which is infused with Anjou Pears. It's really stunning... much better than most flavored vodkas, it's more along the lines of Hangar One. I'm really...
