I've bought a few nurses dresses from US EBay (I'm in England) made by a company called 'Black swan (or is it white swan? lol) they turn up regularly, unworn and wash well.
Let us know how you get on?
So did Bette ever wear this/a dress like it? Doesn't look like her style to me -not classy enough (sorry) is it called the Bette Davis? No, it's called the B Davis. My mum's plumber is Brian Davis. To be honest it's more his style.
Silly, silly lawsuit.
I do presentations on WW1/ww2 and the...
Forums are so odd, we feel as though we know each other, though we may be separated by thousands of miles. I too often popped in and wondered how 'that nice gent was doing' nnd I was so sad to read of his passing.

Picked up this pattern 46" bust! Bazonga! Hurrah...I'm a 42-44" so I'm so pleased. Bought it to make the long version for a dance in may. I'm using a lovely deep purple chiffon over an original black 30s underslip. I also picked up a lovely purple velvet clutch bag from an event here in the UK...
Paddy, look on my facebook contacts.. there's a girl called Nadine. she will knit anything and not expensive. She can even use 3 ply wool so you have more vintage shades.
