as long as you could purchase the flour (rationed) you could make your own, however, there was also the 'National Loaf' which although edible was apparently unappetising as the four was roughly milled and made bread look grey.

I used to think that Henna was a nice gentle colour, but it stays in your hair for a loooong time and it does say on some home colours not to use after a Henna Treatment. I'm not sure why, my hairdresser tried to explain, something about salts and yadda yadda and then I could just see her mouth...

My dad played Union for the RAF, but my chap is from the north and his whole family are passionate about League! I can't stand either! Glad you like it though.
Was wondering how you're getting on Blondie, my friends hair grew back differently, very soft and like baby hair! Also much lighter.
