Hi
I was hoping someone could help me to identify this movie, as Immdb and an internet search didn't bring results. It is black and white, possibly 1930's-40's but set in about 1800's. It is a supernatural chiller- a new governess takes up a position looking after 2 small children,a boy and...
Hi there
Just to let you know that as of this week there was a beautiful 3 peice art deco bedroom set (1930's) seen for £100.00 in Barnardo's, Knowsley, Liverpool/Merseyside. It comprises of large wardrobe, small wardrobe and a dressing table with mirror.
I'd buy it myself but i don't...
Hi Gals
I've got the translucent and the translucent extra coverage. I have'nt tried them on my skin as I find the scent really off-putting- i hate baby powder, rose or lavender type scents- much more of a herbal/ spicy scent type of gal. I'll have a go at them and report back. They look more...
Well it's been acouple of months now and it's great. We have completly seperate rooms ( we have no kids so we have the space for it) and he is loving having his own room- his own personal little oasis. I like having my own space to read and sttle down at night in my own time. I don't think we'll...
I look like my Dads sister when she was young- although lookswise she is morbidly obese with really bad hair and no make-up and personality wise she is a raving Christian and has very strong opinions and quite odd traits. So you think i might be a bit miffed about the comparisson but actually...
I'm neutral in tone but leaning to pink. I am about a NW10 in MAC terms and the lightest skin colour in Illamasqua (Sub-brand of Kryolan) which is 115. My favourite foundation is MAC studio stick in NW15 which is actually about NW10- it's been discontinued so i buy it up where I can find it...
Baby butterfly- I can sympathise with feeling ugly-I put so much weight on due to PMS. I'm Northwest too by the way.
RodeoRose- it's great to meet another person with such a range of styles. I always feel like I have to comitt fully to one style in particular in order to be 'accepted' and...
RodeoRose. Thise pictures are GORGEOUS- the women look like they have stepped out of the pages of Illamsqua: http://www.illamasqua.com/collections/art-of-darkness/

Thanks for the advice. I still love going to rock clubs at the weekend and have drawn some inspiration from Dita for my outfits. I find it hard to dance to rock music in long skirts so I either opt for black capris and a 50's style halter top with my big boots or I have a few pencill...
So, i 've been using cold cream and witchhazel each night to cleanse and I love it it feels so nice and glamerous - BUT I went to get a new foundation the other day and the pores at the sides of my nose on my cheeks have become so stretched! I recall from beauty books to avoid heavy creams and...
Just switched to Illamasqua from MAC.
I was getting fed up with MAC for the follwing reasons:
-They bring out limited editions every month and it's getting too gimiky
-Thier colours are a tad on the muted side, too murky- not 'clean'
-Thier skin colour range is rubbish- i'm tired of mixing...
My hubbie is so hairy (back included) that any attempts to shave would be like painting the Forth bridge! Though he does shave his head for the look of it and his armpits so that his antipersperant gets onto the skin.
I wasn't sure i'd like a man that hairy at first but i love it- so...
I got one of MACs 4 palletes and filled it with:
1. a cream concealer (studiosculpt)
2. a cream-powder conclear (for spots- Studio fix)
3. a white/green concealer for red marks (Pro corrector in Ash blonde-green counteracts red)
4. a white/ orange concealer for shadows under eyes (Pro...
Thanks for your support everyone, I really needed it. It just raked up a lot of hurtful stuff from the past.. but there is one thing...
I doubt she'll ever be able to say that she got stopped in Paris wearing her superspy dress, by a famous french artist and told she looked 'perfect' ;)
Ahhh! I just have to let off some steam. I just gave into curiosity and had a peak at my ex's girlfriends ebay history.... not something I usually do but i was bored. And guess what- she's been buying up everything I have previously bought- the Heartbreaker Superspy dress, the vintage heels, the...
