    What you say drives me crazy.

    I heard that one at least twice last week. I've also seen the word "then" used instead of "than" often in recent months. As in "she needs more then her fair share". But that's really a writing problem and not a speaking problem.

    I used a Palm for about a year (back in 2001 or so) and decided for me it was just more trouble than it was worth. Things like that can be like a new hobby, too much time invested just to keep it going, updated, charged and current. I'll take my $5 Dayminder from Office Depot and a Moleskine...

    No accent, I've lived in too many places. I've also been told I have that newscaster way of speaking, but sometimes I talk too fast and get a little tounge tied. I think I picked up the fast talking thing while living in NY, but my brain is still in Southern slow motion.:p

    I don't have any, and they don't bother me in the least. As for no professionals having facial piercing, I know many Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Illustrators, Photographers, Animators, Web Designers, Producers, Directors, etc. that would disagree with you.

    They made a movie to kind of finish up Firefly called Serenity. My wife and I both like Joss Weden's work, and we really liked the movie. It wrapped up the loose ends of an extremely short series.

    Here in Houston the rise in crime over the past year has been directly attributed to the Hurricane Evacuees that relocated (probably permanently) to the city. 17% increase in homicide.
