This looks great! How on earth do you find so many amazing vintage wool short length full-zip jackets? I've been searching for ages. Most I find measure 28" or more in length. If I could find just one in size 42-ish, I'd be shocked.

It should be horsehide tanned by Shinki. Greg used to get them in a smooth and in a grainy variant, when he’s was in his first year. I have one in blue grainy hide. Spectacular!
Oh I see! really like the uniformity of the graining on Mr. Joe's example :) you'll have to show yours to sometime :D

My only other “new” denim jacket Red Tornado repo version of the iconic Wrangler 11MJ Gold Dot. This is one helluva jacket. Can’t imagine the original being any better than this one.

Very special denim jacket - are the gold dots actually brass or copper? The clean design of the back of the jacket with the adjustable straps to the side is rather unique as well.

It must be really nice to have such a large spread to mosey about on - I'm squeezed onto 5 measly acres but it's enough to keep me busy and the peace and privacy is priceless.

The gold dots are actually embroidered on just like the original. The shoulder gussets make for ease of movement.
Yes I mosey around on some big acreages but it’s not my acres. I’m an Ag consultant, these are farms that I take care of but owned by fellers a lot wealthier than I.
