    The Black Dahlia

There's just something wrong with his whole "jacket off loose tie" look that seems way too contemporary. Detectives at the original crime scene Movie Still Sorry about the first photo, I thought it was too far away and blurry to bother anyone. This photo has the bottom cropped off.

When do you abandon your panama for felt?

Even in the summer if it's a rainy/cloudy day I go with felt, and I live in Houston.

    1940s House on PBS

Pretty sure that is a couple of years old, but it's very interesting show. I think we have this cotton candy view of living in the 40's, but daily life was a lot more difficult than we can imagine.

    Refrigerators..What is your experience? RATINGS?

Do not buy a Magic Chef. The engineers that design those things must be a room full of monkeys with a computer.

I just recieved a great comment about my hat...

I get "nice hat" a lot, but the most creative comment was a couple of weeks ago. A client came in, saw my hat on my desk and asked "who's rockin' the fedora?"

    Where were you on 9/11/2001?

I was at work when my wife called about the "accident". Only myself and my office manager were in so far, and as we stood there watching the report we saw the second plane hit.

    My house

That's really, really nice. But I do have one question-unless your typewriter has internet access, where are you hiding the computer?

Wow! Awesome site, it's always amazes me all these things are out there. Maybe we should have some kind of categorized links page for all the stuff that loungers find. It would be a lot easier than searching old threads.

    R.I.P., Crocodile Hunter

My daughter and I loved watching his show, but I haven't told her about his death yet. I don't think I'll be able to do my bad impersonation of him for a while either.

    Radio

Count me in! I have been listening to Bing's war radio broadcasts all afternoon! Talk about synchronicity! I have tons of old radio broadcasts and would be fun to have a forum to talk about it!:eusa_clap

    Health Insurance Rates?

My wife and I are both self employed, we have Humana of Texas and pay $440 a month for me, her and our 5 year-old daughter. We have the highest deductible offered so save money. If something big happened it would only take one day in the hospital to reach it anyway. No dental or vision. And...

    Your Labor Day Plans?

I use to always take my first dates to either the museum or the zoo. I'm not sure if it was to make sure they were smart enough for me or to prove I was smart enough for them:p .
