I'm shocked at how many people on this board enjoyed this film. I saw it lastnight and I don't think I've seen a more appalling, awful, just plain stinky movie since Treasure of the Four Crowns.
Are you the same crew who love to hate CGI so much? And none of you found the aesthetic a little...
Ouch.
I was just catching up on this thread and read that we were on. Yay!
Then I continued reading and found out we were off. Aaaaww!
Anything comparable or in some way similar on the horizon, Aaron? Do other hat manufacturers ever raid their felt museums for vintage 50/50?
I just thought the cartoon was funny, I didn't want to open a political discussion.
I've been using the CFLs for years and my kid hasn't started doing drugs yet.
Nic Cage will always have a place in my heart if only for his performance in Vampire's Kiss. It's as utterly demented as the film itself, an American Psycho before Bret Easton Ellis got around to it. His recitation of the alphabet is genius, and a single moment of genius is a fair trade for...
To me that's an innovative design. If it works in the location then I think it is beautiful. Some contemporary buildings work.

I passed through Fort Worth in 1993 on a road trip and was impressed with the permanent collections at the Modern Art Museum and the Kimbell, but it looks like FW has some pretty well-to-do patrons of architecture as well.
The last one kind of crosses a line...
Hurly is the worst. He is the worst character on the show, possibly the worst character on television and he is definitely the worst television actor since this guy:
I'm busy and I don't really have time to be watching these shows, so they have to be worth it. I nearly stopped watching...
Lost is losing me.
I have some questions that maybe I'm just to obtuse to figure out for myself.
1) Re: Sawyer. If somebody stole everything from you and everyone else at - more or less - gunpoint and then takes off, are you really going to be all that happy to see him come back?
2) A...
To be fair, the article does not indicate that the book has anything disparaging at all to say about FLW, and in fact the article (if not the book) defends some engaging examples of modern architecture. Also, Libeskind and Gehry are outsdie the purview of the book and article as they are...
