You really just have to find the product that works on your hair. What works for one person is not necessarily going to work for someone else.
I didn't have any luck with American Crew, and Layrite doesn't work well for me when I wear a hat. Royal Crown pomade smells better than the RC hair...
I have to say I'm surprised to discover that so many Maine residents are being duped by phony doo wop groups that hearings and legislation are needed.
Coincidentally, I was wondering what happend to Bowser just a few days ago.
Shana nana shanana na na!
Son of Kong
Remakes weren't as offensive in the days when the original wasn't easily available on DVD. There is a very significant difference between Philidelphia Story and High Society, so they are really more like different films based on the same source material. The Maltese Falcon, for...
Pretty long message to tie to a bird.
You might want to send more than one bird-a-gram.
Another sappy ending. This is what happens when they aim to please. Yech.
George Miller's next Max movie is said to likely be a relaunch with a new Max. That's good, because as aging blocks of wood go, even more than Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson has lost that 80s Mad Max magic.
I don't know about the Warriors film, but have you played the video game?
I have dimmable ones now. They won't work in most chandeliers but they should work in lamps. In the alst few years the price has dropped by more htan half and the bulbs have improved vastly. Some of my heaviest use lights use CFLs and they've been in since we bought the house two years ago, so...
I went crosseyed partway through the thread, so maybe I missed it, but isn't the decision to have or not have children at the wedding and/or reception the bride and groom's?
Who cares what we all think.
Hey, it's Lee Marvin and John Cassavettes so it's easy to love. The beauty of the Criterion set is that you don't have to choose one version, you get both, so you can watch them back to back over and over.
They even throw in Tarkovsky's student film of The Killers.
This is the worst news I've ever read. One of my favourite films ever, the one I was watching fifteen times while you guys were watching Raiders of the Lost Ark, is being remade.
That's the bad news. The pass-me-the-rope news is that Gerald Butler, the shouty mannequin from that...
Criterion released The Killers quite a while ago in a killer package that included the made for TV remake by Don (Dirty Harry) Siegel and starring Lee Marvin and Ronald Reagan.
As one of the few known Fans of Hello, Larry (a fraternal order as obscure as the Sons of Lee Marvin), you will be pleased to know that Kim Richards has stepped back from oblivion and is now one of the principals in the film Black Snake Moan.
She is unrecognizable.
So much that I never thought I'd see is now out. Heaps of noir, serials, the early versions of Maltese Falcon, Mr Moto (2 volumes!) Charlie Chan (2 volumes!) and Michael Shayne Volume 1 is due soon.
I'd still like to see collections of The Falcon and Saint (with George Sanders please, no...
For those interested in this era of film, if you haven't already read it, Kevin Brownlow's book The Parade's Gone By is a fantastic piece of work.
It was reissued a few years ago and searches at ABE, Ebay or other booksellers should turn up decent, fresh paperback copies.
