I just dont enjoy seeing Sayiid get shot, then later winning a struggle. Just seems like anyone shot in the arm should be physically out of it for the rest of the afternoon...
I could see, say if Locke got shot & so was off in the other room playing chess & then maybe you could mitigate his bad judgement.
Or even a little girlpower. Wounded Sayiid gets knocked out quick, But Kate subdues the bad guy.

Yep; when the bullet was being fished out of his arm, shouldn't he have been bleeding... a LOT?

It was a better episode than last week's but instead of answering a mystery, it introduced MORE stuff to be explained in upcoming episodes...

oy.

It took me until last night to watch this, so that should tell you something.

More extras

I agree with Doh! Stop introducing more characters.

I loved when Saywer asked "Who the hell are you?" to that awful new character they introduced this season.
This episode was written by two of the shows creators, which certainly explains why it was just better than the past few. I agree that there were several flaws, but it it kept me in suspense for the entire hour. I liked the Sayid flashback too.

A little :eek:fftopic: , but Naveen Andrews, who plays Sayid is in the Tarantino/Rodriguez film Grindhouse. Senator Jack posted a thread about it and I was a little surprised to see him in the cast.

Tonight was pretty damned good -- I liked when Locke tossed Patch into the barrier; now we don't have to be strung along by another new character until Lord knows when.

Next week's preview looks intriguing as well.

Yeah, it seems things are finally happening now. I feel like they are tying up some loose ends. I think we had figured out from an earlier episode (season 2 maybe?) that Jack's dad was also Claire's. And about last week--since "Patch" had horses at his place, could that explain Kate's horse from last season?

Thanks fellas! I'm going to start reading these posts before I watch the shows... Kinda like Cliffs Notes to help me remember all the straggly little details... ;)

Oh, I know.. I avoid the Heroes thread when I haven't watched it, but I feel like I need some sort of incentive for Lost now :)

Yes, definitely nice to see Claire's link to Jack confirmed.
I thought her gothiness was a nice touch.

And as for the sonic fence...the frothing of the mouth was bad enuff, I didnt quite expect th blood shooting out of his ears. Again, Locke impetuously making moves. Since his stupidity blew up The HATCH and now the Dish compound...you'd think the guy would be less spontaneous.

I think there are hints of Locke having a deeper connection to The Others..what Patch started to say in last night's ep, and scenes from next week seem to imply this.

Pretty long message to tie to a bird.

You might want to send more than one bird-a-gram.

Another sappy ending. This is what happens when they aim to please. Yech.

Arrrrgh! I missed this week's episode too. My new work hours and Lost's new time slot aren't working for me at all! I'm tired of looking at that tiny screen they use for the online episodes. :(
