Yes, it's the Super 120 wool/cashmere. It's a great suit!
The measurements are important, I think you wouldn't go wrong having a tailor make them. You can print out Indy's sizing form and take it to a tailor.
I'm hoping to lose some weight before my next suit. What I'm planning on doing...
I used to have a ratty black 1969 Imperial, and I'd drive it around with a cheap wool felt black stingy-brim I found at a department store, and my Wayfarers of course.
It was amazing how powerful that Mopar 440 was, even in such a heavy car. For its size, it handled pretty darn...
I got a lot of mileage out of my Tinkertoys and my Erector Set as a kid in the 1960s, as well as my coaster-brake bike and my pedal car.
I think my #1 things were my Tonka trucks. I had quite a collection, and they stood up to my manhandling very well. :)
If I could find a new suit that's cut like a vintage one so it really fits, I'd be all over it. My Indy suit comes closest, but I need to get better measurements for the next one. If I can lose about 50 pounds so I can get back under 300, I'll start working on my next suit.
I dream of a secret stash of Oliver Hardy's or Sydney Greenstreet's or Jackie Gleason's old suits. Ollie, in one of his few movies without Stan called "Zenobia" wore a wonderful morning suit that would probably fit me just fine.
