I love vintage Dobbs hats, I'm up to 5 of them. I especially like the almost metallic color of the the band on the brown ones.
And I especially love that wide brim with the Guild edge!
Just tried Moxie for the first time, I found it at "BevMo" (AKA Beverages and More) in southern California. I tried the original elixir, the cherry cola and the Blue Cream. I love it!
I also picked up some Boylan cane cola, which had a slightly odd but enjoyable taste, and some Cheerwine...
I listen to When Radio Was on KKGO AM 1260 in Los Angeles, starting at 2AM, right when I get off work. I miss Stan Freberg, but Schaden does a very good job.

Getting ready to set off a bunch of fireworks. Hawaii is one of the last time zones to see the new year, so I was listening to the news throughout the day and when I heard Japan had no problems, I wasn't too worried.

My problem is the cuffs on my dang off-the-rack shirts are too tight. I ain't Popeye, and I would have thought a size 19 shirt would have cuffs that I can button without making my eyes bug out. I guess there must be a lot of guys out there with big necks and skinny little wrists.

I tend to prefer Bogey in heroic roles, but I think he enjoyed playing psychotic characters more, as in Treasure of the Sierra Madre and The Caine Mutiny.
