IMO, Tabarome (the 'original' is the only version I have tried - I believe the 'new' Tabarome is a little lighter and less individual) is the way to go if you want lots of leather and tobacco. Cuir de Russie is less obviously leather-ey, without the tobacco notes. I found that Tabarome was too...- RobStC

Just wanted to add my voice to those of HPG and Torpedo (those guys are worth listening to, they know their stuff!!). Oh, and Miss Sofia too..... Anyway, a nice balance to the ensemble as posted, IMHO, and I agree that a tan or brown hat would be just a bit too coordinated :( . The grey works...- RobStC

Vintage Cologne
I use Trumpers Spanish Leather as my everyday cologne, and it seems to have a good general balance of acceptability for most people - ie it smells nice (I get quite a few positive comments) but is in no way overpowering, too strong or too distinctive. So, it works for me as an everyday...- RobStC
