What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I think I read that this is the last day for the Stingy Mas, but I'm on my way now so you'll see more of them in the next few days. I promise: only until Christmas.

Today was a beautiful morning that ended early with a gloomy and gray sky. Temperatures close to zero Celsius.

In the small family of furry Italian hats, the name Guerra 1855 stands out. I have at least five hats made by this not very well known hat factory that have an impeccably finished felt with long naps.

Today I'm wearing this Guerra 1855 in brown. There is no other news except that it was hand finished.
Compared to yesterday's Barbisio, the felt is softer and the hair is slightly longer.

Very easy to wear, it has its own charm.
Nice one Daniele. There is yet one day left after today… of course by no means does that mean you should curb your stingy expose if you are on a roll!

The Cambiaghi heather. Cambiaghi is not a name that I have come across before. What a fabulous hat. I was so taken with it that I Googled the name asking where it was sold and much to my surprise, there's a retailer near me who sells Cambiaghi. https://the-hatshop.co.uk/ It's called simply: The Hat shop and it's in the centuries old, City of Salisbury, about twenty miles away. Come the new year, Tina might be getting a trip to Salisbury.

Thank you, Robert. Cambiaghi is an old brand worth looking into. Specialized in woolfelts, which they could do to perfection.

My, oh, my..... OK, for me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, first place goes to the Cambiaghi, one of the MOST mouth-wateringly scrumptious heathers I've ever seen. Second place is filled by the Borsalino Cocisca Genestra, and a strong third is taken by the Dunn & Co velour. Thank you, as always, Stefan, for a magnificent bundle of Sunday beauties.
