Great Shoe Shine Stands across the nation

Good to know Bugsy, is there any shiner specifically to look for and if so what's his or her's name? Do all Nordstrom's have shoe shine stands?

Great Shoe Shine Stands across the nation

Newark Airport great shoe shine I just got a great shine today at the continental terminal at Newark airport. This stand is near the Presidents Lounge and I had the pleasure of getting a shine from a young African American woman(I forgot to get her name, but you can't miss her she has a Rasta...

Great Shoe Shine Stands across the nation

I agree with you Skyvue and I'm going to make an effort to seek out other shoe shiners in my area. Amazingly, Mario charged only $2.50 for the shine that took him almost 15 minutes. I gave him $6 and felt guilty that I should have given him more.

Great Shoe Shine Stands across the nation

I was in Nordstrom's in the Paramus Park Mall(NJ) the other day to pick up some replacement laces and noticed for the first time that there was a professional shoe shine stand tucked away behind the shoe department. A gentleman named Mario was shining the shoes of a dapper older man and so I...

    George Hurrell 40s style photography

I checked him out, nice work, but you are better. Roger James does great retouching and gets that perfect smooth skin look like in the original glamour shots of Hurrell. Ferriera has great composition and good wardrobe but still is too natural looking and appears to do no retouching.

I get the feeling the folks who complained on styleforum are less appreciative of hats and therefore take a more literal approach to the etiquette.

Thanks All! I'd like to use this opportunity to post a question. I posted the same photos on styleforum.net and surprisingly got numerous complaints about me not taking my hat off in my store. To the best of my knowledge, hat etiquette does not require a man to remove his hat in a retail...

Does anyone make an exact replica of Bogarts Trench coat? Panama Hat Thread

Thanks Art! BTW, great job on my Resistol! That said, scaber, I was going to recommend Robert Weber aka Panama Bob of Panama Hat Works of Montecristi. After my sour experience with Ultrafino I ended up with a glorious hat from Robert that is worth four times what I paid for it and Bob was...

    Panama Hat Thread

Hi scaber and welcome to the most addictive forum on the web, As a some what new member to the lounge, I'm still not sure what the proper etiquette is for referring people to a lounge vender. I have sung the praise of one hatter in particular because of the great Panama's I got from him and I...
