Well, I did wear it along with my white tie and tails to my company's Christmas party last year. One very well-dressed young lady expressed her appreciation and said she was worried that she was overdressed for the occasion until she saw me. lol
I actually got quite a few compliments. Then...
Let's see, 30 years too old to be a high-schooler, 200 pounds too heavy to be a Japanese diplomat, and the wrong skin tone for Flavor Flav... I guess I'm outta luck, eh?
I think I have 47 hats, although whenever I try to count them, I always seem to miss one or two. I am, of course, utterly insane. I was going through my boxes and found a grey Dobbs Guild Edge that I had completely forgotten that I had.
I voted for the circular logo, I think that's more in keeping with the website and the pins, etc.
That reminds me, gotta go get some Guinness Draught for my FL glasses. :)
I'm a great example of the generational differences in size. My Dad (born 1906) was 5'-2" and Mom (born 1916) was 5'-6" and I'm 6'-0", born in 1961.
It was a standard punchline in the US in the 1950s-60s how much taller the kids were than their parents.
